Jonathan Green House : ウィキペディア英語版 | Jonathan Green House
The Jonathan Green House is a historic house at 63 Perkins Street in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Built c. 1720, it is one of the oldest structures in Stoneham. The main block is two stories high, five bays wide, and one room deep, with a central chimney. The centered entrance is framed by simple pilasters and topped by a modest entablature. Single story ells project from the northeast and northwest corners. The house belonged to the Green family, one of the first to settle the area, into the 19th century. One of several Jonathan Greens to occupy the house in the 18th century was a prominent local citizen, serving as town clerk and treasurer, and representing the town in the ratification debate of the United States Constitution.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NRHP nomination for Jonathan Green House )〕 The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.〔 ==See also==
